What Dogs See!

In the picture below, the top row shows the colors most humans can see, from red to purple - like a rainbow! This arrangement of colors is called a spectrum. (Come back in July to find out more about colors and spectrums.) The spectrum at the bottom shows the way we think dogs see colors. When you see a red ball, your dog probably sees a tan ball. When you see green leaves, your dog may see white. But when you and your dog look up, you see a blue sky together!Later, we'll show you how other animals see! Come back soon! |
